Adventure awaits! Enjoy a free guided kayak tour of the beautiful Gaviota Coastline. We will be exploring the prolific kelp beds, absorbing inspiring coastal views, and discovering a region full of abundant marine life.
Reminder List for Participants: Hats, sunscreen, and comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting wet.
In Park Location: Meet outside of the Refugio State Beach Education Center. This is the Blue House located at the west end of the day-use lot.
Itinerary:
- 10:00 -10:30 Participants sign paperwork followed by basic use and safety instructions provided by lifeguard staff.
- 10:30 -10:45 Launch kayaks with lifeguard assistance
- 10:45-11:45 Interpretive paddle of Refugio Bay
- 11:45-12:00 Land Kayaks
