2-mile moderate guided hike on Diggins Loop Trail
A “wide-lens” introduction to the history of hydraulic mining and its impact on the environment. This guided hike will take participants into the historic Diggins for a first-hand experience of park history and resources. Current issues concerning water quality and environmental degradation will be addressed, as will planned stewardship solutions. The Park’s past, present, and future will be explored along the beautiful Diggins Loop Trail.
