Pastimes of Old Town San Diego

How did the children that lived in Old Town San Diego spend their free time? Outdoors! Discover the different games that would have been played by inhabitants of what is now Old Town San Diego, including the Kumeyaay game ‘p’shok,’ as well as lawn games such as ‘hoop and stick,’ egg races, and tug of war from the Californio period. Join the interpreters at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park for some friendly competition of these historic games 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Plaza on June 16.
